Over the holiday (Labor Day here in the U.S.) weekend an interesting problem was posted in our forum section. Below is the question as posted in the forum.
The car is a 2002 Turbo X-50 and has a coolant hose with fitting that has popped out of a cast metal block located on the right hand side of the engine. This cast metal piece has an aluminum male sleeve fitting that is glued, yes glued into the cast metal block and wherein a rubber coolant hose clamps over the other end of the aluminum male sleeve.

An interesting question was posted recently about the early Porsche 996 rear main seal (RMS) known problem. The RMS in early 996s and 986s have been known to fail and cause many problems including internal engine destruction.
